1. Educational Qualification

An applicant must satisfy at least one of the following three options:

  • Option A: Passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from a recognized Board or University.

1. Computer & IT (Core Subject)

This is the highest weightage section and the primary focus of the exam.

  • Fundamentals: Generations, Input/Output Devices, and Memory Hierarchy (RAM, ROM, Cache).
  • Systems: Operating Systems (Windows, DOS), Software types, and Logic Gates.
  • Languages & Web: Programming in C and C++, HTML Basics, and Web Browsers.
  • MS Office Suite: Deep dive into Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and OneNote.
  • Connectivity: Networking, Data Communication, Internet/Intranet, and Email protocols.
  • Data Management: Database Management Systems (DBMS).

2. General Awareness & Social Science

  • Himachal Pradesh GK: History, Geography, and Culture of HP.
  • National/International: Current Affairs, Important Days, and Government Schemes.
  • Core Social Science: Basic Indian History, Geography, Polity/Civics, and Economy.

3. Logical Reasoning

  • Verbal: Number/Alphabet Series, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, Clocks & Calendars, and Ranking/Direction.
  • Analytical: Analogy, Cubes & Dice, and Non-verbal reasoning.

4. Languages (Matric Level)

  • English: Grammar, Vocabulary, Sentence Correction, and Comprehension.
  • Hindi: व्याकरण (Grammar), शब्दावली (Vocabulary), वाक्य शुद्धि (Sentence Correction), and पर्यायवाची/विलोम (Synonyms/Antonyms).

5. Everyday Science

  • General Physics, Chemistry, and Biology based on 10th-standard curriculum.
     

6. Skill Test (Typing)

Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for the typing test in a ratio of 1:4.

  • English: 30 Words Per Minute (WPM).
  • Hindi: 25 Words Per Minute (WPM).
  • Nature: Qualifying only (marks are not added to the final merit).
